What is your interpretation of religion?

I think it is meant to be intreped very liberally, since they are written of man made language. Hell is not literally a pit of fire with a demon; it is the world that we will create if we live by the ideas that are universally considered of sins by religion. There is not an old man in the sky watchin over or anything, there not need be. Hell will come on its own if we continue to live out of greed and hate. Like if we continue to cut forests down for the illusion of material wealth and close our minds off from each other, then expect a hell and eternal suffering. A great flood may be on the way, when the polar ice caps melt from the global warming caused by mans huge egos. If we live out of love and the principles of Christ, Buddha, or whoever then we can reach ‘heaven’. . life would keep growing and evolving, causing consciousness to continue to illuminate and then understand itself as god or as one. When oneness is reached, the universe will collapse back to singularity.
