How to introduce a puppy to your current dog, with as little drama as possible?

Hello, i have a 2 year old male lhasa apso. He is quite big for his breed, he's not fat, but really built. We are getting a female yorkie puppy on the 19th of August. I don't really know how to introduce the Yorkie, to my current dog tho? Can anyone try and tell me what to expect when they first meet? Will there be any nipping ect? I mean, the yorkie will be tiny when she's ready to come home with us..so she'l be very delicate..so i'm just concerned incase somethings going too happen. I know eventually they will learn to get on fab, but obviously my current dog will be quite confused. Can anyone give me any advice on what to expect & how to handle it please? thanks x
