My laptop got the blaster worm spyware bug?

My laptop has that blasterworm bug thing that says it has it, but it doesnt and it wont let me open anything to help get rid of the bug open. Also, my laptop screen doesn't work, i use an external monitor. I've tried putting my computer into safe mode, but my external monitor wont work in safe mode. have no idea what to do besides trying to use the disc to recover to factory settings. any ideas?
