Respiratory question need help don't know what too do need advise is this normal?

Well it started with like the flu or cold then i was wheezing a little and coughing up yellow stuff well the doctor listened to me and said i had bronchitis did he know for sure i had that i didnt have any x rays tho and i got z pack and predisone well i be on it for 3 days today is the 4th and im still wheezing and a terrible sore throat you cant hear a wheeze unless im lying down and the worse prolly on my left side when i lay on that side but standing up no wheezing really i just wonder is this normal and why do i have a terrible sore throat and almost lost my voice is it from coughing so hard my only symptoms is the wheeze cough with some mucus just clear white now and and a terrible sore throat
