What do you think of this, I heard that puertoricans don't speak spanish correctly?

I'm also an american who speaks spanish and I found that most young puertoricans can't understand a word I say in spanish, however I was able to comunicate just fine with everyone from other spanish speaking countries, like everyone that I comunicated in spanish from countries like Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Colombia, Dominican Republic, even I remember comunicating in spanish to someone from Chile. Also on Facebook, I have at least a couple people who I write to in Spanish who live in countries like Colombia and Argentina and they all understand me just fine. I even had a few of those Spanish speakers say that puertoricans don't speak spanish correctly. Actually I believe alot of the more mature puertoricans speak spanish just fine and I can also comunicate with then well in spanish. But alot of the young puertoricans I don't believe speak spanish correctly.
